The Minnesota Valley Electric Trust / Operation Round Up (ORU) Trust Board approved donations of
$24,157 to benefit the local area in the first quarter of 2012.
ORU funds are made possible through the voluntary rounding up of MVEC members’ electric bills to the next highest dollar.
The ORU board meets quarterly and the deadline to be considered for a grant is 4 p.m. the first day of February, May, August and November.

Recent grant recipient, Shakopee Area Catholic Schools, sends a special video thank you to all Operation Round Up participants. The school received transportation funds to attend an environmental camp.
