Evaluation process
Money contributed to Operation Round Up is administered by a tax exempt, non-profit corporation called the Minnesota Valley Electric Trust. The Trust is a separate organization from MVEC and is governed by a volunteer board of directors who are listed below:

Carol Ragan (Shakopee)

Jeanne Zwart (Elysian)
Contributions will generally be made to projects in the following categories:
- Community service
- Education and youth
- Emergency assistance
- Economic development
- Environment
- Disaster relief
Contributions are generally not made for:
- Lobbying, political and religious organizations
- Veteran, fraternal and labor organizations
- Fundraising dinners, raffles, events
- National fund drives
