Call Before You Dig
Before digging on your property call Gopher State One Call. They will notify potential utilities of the digging area and then each utility determines whether they need to locate and mark utility lines.
- Call at least 48 hours before you begin digging.
- If undergrounds lines exist in that area, the utility will mark the location of the lines within a 48 hour period.
- Gopher State One Call will request detailed information including the type of work planned, location of site, estimated time needed and legal description of the site.
It costs nothing to have this done and can potentially save lives and thousands of dollars.
