Gopher State On Call - online request form.
Before digging on your property, make a free phone call to Gopher State One Call at 811. They will notify potential utilities affected by the digging area, and then each utility determines whether they need to locate and mark utility lines on your property.
- Call at least 48 hours before you begin digging.
- If undergrounds lines exist in that area, the utility will mark the location of there lines.
- Gopher State One Call will request detailed information including the type of work planned, location of site, estimated time needed and legal description of the site.
It costs nothing to have this done and can potentially save lives and thousands of dollars.
