Energy Saving Tips

Stay on top of your cooling strategy! Below are a few ideas:
- Set thermostat temp slightly higher than normal and start your cooling process early in the day.
- Consider upgrading windows or adding insulation if home warms more than a few degrees during a control period [1]– this is long term savings.
- Do voluntary load reduction (dishwasher, washer, dryer, pool pumps, etc.) during peak use times (5-10 p.m.) whenever temperatures are above 90 degrees.
