  Complete listing of 2008 rebates

• Rebates are only available to members who sign up for a residential Energy Wise program(s) - this excludes appliance rebates.
• Rebates for central air conditioners, air source heat pumps and ground source heat pumps vary depending on the Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER). NOTE: the contractor installing the unit is required to be QI (Quality Installation) certified and must complete a QI rebate form for the member to receive the rebate.
• Heat pumps and air conditioners must be central systems to operate on Energy Wise programs and qualify for MVEC rebates. Mini splits do not qualify as a central system.
• Rebates are offered for a limited time and are subject to change without notice.
• Rebates are honored on a first come, first served basis.
• Rebates will be paid out after your product is installed to an Energy Wise program.
• Rebates can not be carried over to the next calendar year.
• All rebate paperwork must be submitted during the same calendar year.
• Member must submit a copy of the sales receipt and an MVEC rebate form. All paperwork can be mailed to: MVEC, c/o Rebate paperwork, 125 Minnesota Valley Electric Drive, Jordan, MN 55352.
  
  

For members to receive rebate dollars for an Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) the contractor must be QI certified. The contractor is responsible for completing a residential ASHP rebate application. Note: members will need to submit a completed Energy Wise Installation & Product Information Sheet as well

• The installation of an Energy Star Air Source Heat Pump or Ground Source Heat Pump requires the contractor to be QI certified for the member to receive the rebate.
• Rebate available: $500 for Air Source Heat Pump
