Charge your EV the Energy Wise way!
MVEC offers you EV24, a 24-hour, Time-of-Use (TOU) Electric Vehicle charging program where you can charge your vehicle whenever needed, with electric rates that fluctuate by the time of the day. The times and charges are a reflection of power supply, power demand, and wholesale power costs – passing along the savings during non-peak times. By recording EV usage with a dedicated electric meter on your home, your EV usage is separated from your home’s general usage and is tracked over fluctuating time-based rate periods. Charge overnight to take advantage of the best rate, yet have electricity available at all times of the day, if you need it.
Electric Vehicle Charging Rates
By shifting significant usage over peak demand periods, MVEC avoids paying premium prices when purchasing power from its wholesale power providers. It’s a win-win for everyone. MVEC can help reduce its wholesale electric bill, and the savings are passed on to the members with lower rates.
