MVEC’s Annual Meeting is typically held the second Tuesday of April. The 2026 meeting is scheduled for April 7. Learn more about the meeting
The filing period for the 2026 Board of Directors election is open Nov. 1, 2025, until Jan. 27, 2026.
There are four open board seats in the 2026 Board of Directors election.
- In District 1, one open position for the seat currently held by Tom Wolf.
- In District 2, one open position for the seat currently held by Michelle Morrison.
- In District 3, two positions are open for the seats currently held by Liz Krocak and Jim Reeder.

The Board meets on the last Wednesday of each month. Each year, one director seat (sometimes two in the event of a retirement) in each district is up for election. Ballots are mailed to members in March, with results announced at the Annual Meeting in April. Members may also cast their vote in person at the Annual Meeting, typically held at Jordan High School.

- VP of Operations Mike Dietz introduced Journeyman Lineman Wiley Harris who shared his experiences on an NRECA International trip with 13 other Minnesota and Iowa cooperative linemen in bringing electricity to Las Penas, a 35-home village in southeast Guatemala.
