WARNING: a man and woman have been approaching households in the Savage area claiming to represent MVEC solar sales. This is not an MVEC program or sales team. These solar company reps say they are from MVEC and ask for members’ MVEC information, and then say someone will be stopping by or calling to make an appointment. MVEC does not sell solar equipment.
They have also been calling our office, asking for member usage, which we do not give out to third parties. MVEC’s solar program is called GreenSource renewable energy program and does not include the sale or installation of solar equipment. It is an easy way of supporting solar energy by adding an average $3 a month in Solar Renewable Energy Credits to your month electric bill.
