Rebates

Rebate: $25 each. Eligible appliances:

• Clothes Washer
• Dishwasher
• Freezer
• Refrigerator (Dorm-size or smaller not eligible)

The rebate applications (as linked above) must be submitted within 90 days of purchase.

Rebate: $500 – Apply for rebate

• Air Source Heat Pump must be connected to a metered off-peak program to receive a rebate.
• Contractors, please note: As our member’s chosen QI-certified contractor, you are required to submit the residential Air Source Heat Pump Quality Installation rebate form.

• Minimum efficiency requirements to qualify for rebate (both measures must be met):
  • SEER2 13.4 (SEER 14)- or higher
  • HSPF2 7.5 (HSPF 8.8)- or higher
• Must submit rebate within 6 months of installation to qualify.
• Allow up to six weeks for processing.
• If a new air source heat pump is replacing a heating or cooling system that is not an existing air source heat pump already enrolled in the Energy Wise Program, please call MVEC at 952-492-2313 to schedule a field verification appointment. This appointment is necessary to confirm proper installation and connection to Energy Wise, allowing for system updates and rebate eligibility.
• Other state and/or federal rebates may be available upon purchase.
• Program participation is required for a minimum of one control season (one year) to maintain rebate eligibility. Early termination will result in the repayment of the rebate.

Rebate: $200/ton (5-ton limit) – Apply for rebate

• Installation must be completed within six months from the date of purchase to qualify for the rebate.
• Allow up to six weeks for processing.
• Program participation is required for a minimum of one control season (one year) to maintain rebate eligibility. Early termination will result in the repayment of the rebate.

Rebate: $300 – Apply for rebate

• Mini Split must be connected to a metered off-peak program to receive the rebate.
• Installation must be completed within 6 months from the date of purchase to qualify for the rebate. A copy of the Energy Star yellow card or the original tag is required, along with a copy of the original dated sales receipt.
• The Mini Split must be a unit that both heats & cools and be enrolled in the Energy Wise METERED program
• Program participation is required for a minimum of one control season (one year) to maintain rebate eligibility. Early termination will result in the repayment of the rebate.

Rebate: $100 – Apply for rebate

• Central air conditioner unit must be connected to a metered off-peak program to receive the rebate.
• Please note: this rebate is to be submitted by the installation contractor on behalf of the MVEC member.
• Submission of rebate acts as approval and request for AC connection to Energy Wise program.
• AC Rebate is only eligible when the air conditioner is connected to the Energy Wise program.
• Must submit rebate within 6 months of installation to qualify.
• Allow up to six weeks for processing.
• Program participation is required for a minimum of one control season (one year) to maintain rebate eligibility. Early termination will result in the repayment of the rebate.
• Your QI-certified contractor is required to submit the residential Air Conditioner Quality Installation rebate form. List of certified contractors
• Must be SEER2 13.4 or higher to qualify for rebate

Rebate: $50 – Apply for rebate

• An electronically commutated motor (ECM) is common in furnaces for efficiency. These motors have a regulator that allows you to select different settings. They use a microprocessor that effectively calculates the motor’s torque and speed to maintain airflow.
• Submit a copy of your original sales receipt with rebate form within 90 days of purchase.

Rebate: $25 – Apply for rebate

Available for units three years or older that have not had a tune-up within the last two years. Must be completed by a licensed service technician.

Rebate – $50

• Must be enrolled through GreaterGrid.com
• To maintain eligibility for the rebate, participation in the air conditioning program is required for a minimum of one control season (June-September). Early termination will result in the repayment of the rebate.

Rebate: $10.00/kW – Apply for rebate

• To qualify for an electric heater rebate, you must first be on an Energy Wise Metered Program (off-peak program)
• Installation for Metered Program is done by your electrician with equipment provided by MVEC.
• Rebates must be submitted within 6 months of Energy Wise meter installation to qualify.
• Qualifying products include:
  • Garage heaters
  • In-floor boilers
  • Baseboard heaters
  • Cove heaters
  • Plenum heaters
  • Electric thermal storage units
  • Forced air

Rebate: $600 – Apply for rebate

• Rebate is for Marathon water heaters purchased from MVEC’s Energy Store.
• To qualify for the rebate, customers must participate in the Energy Wise program to enroll: Call (952) 492- 8340 or email us
• One-year commitment: Metered program participation is required for a minimum of one control season (one year) to maintain rebate eligibility. Early termination will result in the repayment of the rebate.

Rebate: $600 – Apply for rebate

• Heat pump water heaters (HPWH) offer more flexibility than standard electric water heaters, providing you with reliable hot water while reducing energy consumption by up to 60% and saving you money in the process.
• A HPWH uses less than half the amount of energy to heat the same amount of water by transferring heat instead of creating it. Fans pull warm air in, where it is transferred to water in the storage tank and heated up. Cool air is ducted out while hot water is now ready to use.
• Does not require program enrollment
• No make or model restrictions to qualify. Member may purchase the heat pump water heater of their choice.  Learn more about Heat Pump Water Heaters.

Rebate: $150 per port – Apply for rebate

• Residential members only.
• Car charger needs to be enrolled in the EV-24 charging program.
