Warranty Information
The Rheem Marathon warranty applies to the original residential purchaser and requires online registration within 90 days of installation. Coverage includes a limited lifetime tank warranty, with specific terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions
Members who purchase qualifying equipment from MVEC are eligible for rebates by enrolling in an Energy Wise program.
Eligibility & Requirements:
- Enrollment: Must remain in the Energy Wise program for at least one year.
- Rebate Recapture: If unenrolled before one year, the full rebate will be charged back to your electric bill.
- Compliance: Members must meet all program requirements to maintain rebate eligibility.
- Terms: MVEC may modify program terms or enforce rebate recovery if conditions are not met.
Additional Notes:
- Account Closure: Any unpaid equipment balances must be paid in full if your MVEC account is closed.
- Labor Charges: Subject to change for MVEC equipment and off-peak installations.
- Warranty: Improper installation or failure to follow manufacturer instructions may void the warranty.
- Installer Responsibility: Members are responsible for ensuring their installer follows all water heater installation requirements.
